


ArmInfo.Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan dismissed Acting Deputy Head of the State Control Service (SCS), and appointed a new Deputy Head of the Service as well as Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports.
According to the official website of the government, Aren Yeghiazaryan has been relieved of his post as Acting Deputy Head of the State Control Service, and was replaced by Anri Vardanyan.
By Pashinyan's decision of December 13, Alfred Kocharyan became the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
According to media reports, Anri Vardanyan is son-in-law of Acting President of the Supreme Judicial Council Gagik Jhangiryan.
It should be reminded that the head of the State Control Service, Tigran Ulikhanyan, was dismissed on December 9. Ulikhanyan, one of the founders of the Civil Contract party, was appointed head of the State Control Service on January 15, 2021. Prior to that (2018-2019), he held the position of Deputy Head of the Service. On December 9, 2018, he was elected to the National Assembly from the national electoral list of the "My Step" alliance of parties.
