ArmInfo.The General Prosecutor's Office of Armenia applied to the court with a demand to confiscate property of illegal origin from the former Chief of the Armenian Police Vladimir Gasparyan and his family members. <1 lurer> informs about it with reference to the Datalex judicial information platform.
The case involves Vladimir Gasparyan, his wife, mother, son and daughter, as well as his mother-in-law. The lawsuit was initially filed on November 19, then returned due to deficiencies and was again filed with the court on December 2. The plaintiff is prosecutor of the department for confiscation of property of illegal origin Tigran Davtyan.
In June, the Prosecutor's Office investigated Gasparyan and his family, and then invited them to clarify the origin of the property. As a result, on July 1, it became known that arrest was imposed on Gasparyan's property. The case involves several land plots, mansions, cars and companies.
Advisor to the Prosecutor General Gor Abrahamyan told "1 Lourer" that the case has already been taken to court. At the same time, the Prosecutor's Office has not yet specified which property belonging to Gasparyan and his family is subject to confiscation. "The Prosecutor's Office has not yet provided information about the property of these people, we can publish it in the near future," Abrahamyan said.
