


ArmInfo.The Anti-Corruption Committee of Armenia has brought charges against the third President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan. A written undertaking not to leave was chosen as a preventive measure. Press secretary of the Anti-Corruption Committee Mariam Ohanjanyan said this in an interview to Public TV of Armenia.
"Within the framework of the case investigated by the Anti-Corruption Committee, charges have been brought against Serzh Sargsyan. Not to leave has been chosen as a preventive measure," Ohanjanyan said. Earlier, the lawyer of the third President of Armenia said that the Anti-Corruption Committee summoned Sargsyan as an accused, he is charged with taking a bribe from a businessman.
It should be noted that earlier, based on the testimony of businessman Silva Hambardzumyan, a criminal case was initiated against the second RA President Robert Kocharian. According to her, she gave a bribe of about $ 3 million to Kocharian to develop the mine.
And already in February 2019, Silva Hambardzumyan accused the deprivation of her license to develop the mine of the third President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, former governor of the Syunik region, Surik Khachatryan, former Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan and former Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, , deceased Armen Movsisyan.
