Aircraft stationed at Erebuni aerodrome ready to accomplish tasks -  commander 

ArmInfo.All the aircraft at the Erebuni aerodrome are ready to accomplish tasks, Colonel Alexander Petrov, Commander of the Russian airbase Erebuni, told  reporters on November 21 in response to an ArmInfo reporter. As  regards the personnel`s battle readiness, the information is secret.  

Colonel Petrov stressed that the Russian side is actively cooperating  with the Armenian side.  "We are most actively cooperating with the  Ministry of Defense of Armenia. As a pilot I am actively interacting  with the Aviation Department of the Ministry of Defense, as well as  with the commanders of the regiment stationed at the Erebuni  aerodrome and of the regiment in Gyumri," he said. The Russian and  Armenian pilots are carrying out training flights.  

Colonel Petrov stressed that during the training flights Russian  pilots are not violating Turkey`s borders.  "We are not violating the  [foreign] airspace. We are working in strict conformity with the  guidelines," Colonel Petrov said.
