South Caucasus Railway staff take rescuer courses at MES

ArmInfo. At his meeting with Director General of the South Caucasus Railway CJSC Alexey Melnikov, Armenia's Minister of Emergency Situations Andranik Piloyan  pointed out great potential for expansion of cooperation projects in  both the practical and education aspects. 

The sides appreciated bilateral cooperation. 

Mr Melnikov highlighted, among other cooperation programs, the  training courses by the Crisis Management State Academy for 20 South  Caucasus Railway employees this August. 

The training courses will enable the staff to immediately respond to  emergencies before rescuers' arrival.  And the trained crews could,  if necessary, join the volunteer rescuers. 

Minister Piloyan handed over to Mr Melnikov "Rescuer" certificates  and ID cards awarded to the trainees by the minister's order.
