ArmInfo."Azerbaijan is ready to cooperate with UNESCO in the process of post-conflict reconstruction and is conducting an active dialogue to send a technical mission to the liberated territories." This was stated by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, speaking on November 10 at the 41st session of the UNESCO General Conference in Paris.
According to him, "a number of complex technical, legal and political issues that will ensure the effectiveness and independence of the mission have already been agreed."
"Azerbaijan has repeatedly warned UNESCO about gross "violations by Armenia", raising the issue of sending a technical mission to the "occupied territories". However, Armenia prevented this, which is reflected in the UNESCO report for 2005>, the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry quotes the minister, without explaining, moreover, a document from 15 years ago with current realities.
It should be noted that for a year now Azerbaijan has been preventing the sending of a UNESCO monitoring mission to the territories that have come under Azerbaijani control as a result of Azerbaijan's large-scale military aggression against Artsakh.
