"Hayastan" bloc: The agenda of this regime to open an era of peace in  the region means the loss of Armenia`s sovereignty

ArmInfo.The authorities, a symbol of defeat, made another negotiated concession - Azerbaijan took full control of the Goris-Kapan highway. This is stated in a  statement of the Hayastan (Armenia) bloc.

"The capitulator said that we will always move freely along this  route. He, as always, deceived the public.  Now he announces an  alternative road. While this regime is in power, such shameful  concessions can be expected every day. The one who occupies the chair  of the head of the Armenian government does not decide anything else.  Instead, Azerbaijan makes decisions. The enemy is not only physically  present on the sovereign territory of Armenia, but also establishes  customs and border control points. This government is not capable of  anything, it will not resist Azerbaijan. But we will not accept this,  "the bloc's statement says.

At the same time, the opposition force is convinced that in fact the  agenda of the regime to open an era of peace in the region means the  loss of Armenia's sovereignty.

"What happened is a direct threat to the security of our compatriots  in the Syunik region and the defense capability of Armenia. It also  carries serious and uncontrollable economic risks.

Dear compatriots, the alternative to the current catastrophic  situation is not war, as they try to imagine. The alternative is a  dignified peace, the formation of a new government that protects  national and state interests.  We initiated a nationwide resistance  against the destructive policies of the authorities. Today's  challenge is to build up resistance, daily work and constant action.  We cannot be suppressed by the repression and violence of law  enforcement agencies, we will go all the way. No one will hand over  Syunik, Artsakh will not get rid of the Armenians, Armenia will not  be Turkified. Armenia will be a sovereign state, the Armenian people  will again live in a just and strong country, "the bloc concluded.

It should be noted that the day before, the Secretary of the RA  Security Council announced that the Azerbaijani military would  establish a checkpoint on the Goris-Kapan road of the Syunik region  of the Republic of Armenia, adding that in response the Armenian side  would also set up checkpoints, although he did not specify why  customs points were to be established on the sovereign territory of  Armenia. And today the RA Prime Minister justified these actions of  the Azerbaijani side, assuring that these are their territories.   However, he also did not specify on the basis of which documents the  sovereign territories of Armenia were transferred to Azerbaijan.
