ArmInfo. The General Prosecutor's Office of Artsakh presented data on violations committed by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces after the signing of a trilateral ceasefire statement.
So, in the message of the department it is stated that in the year that has passed since the signing of the trilateral statement of November 9, 2020, the Azerbaijani side consciously and deliberately continued its criminal actions against the people of Artsakh. The NKR Prosecutor General's Office stated that they have repeatedly reported this in order to inform international organizations and organizations in the field of human rights protection.
At the same time, the ministry drew attention to the fact that the statement stopped large-scale hostilities, but the aggressive hostilities of the Azerbaijani-Turkish tandem were transformed into planned and coordinated actions to intimidate the population of Artsakh and expel Armenians from Artsakh.
"Over the past year, the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, located near the settlements of the Republic of Artsakh, committed 56 crimes, in connection with which 43 criminal cases were initiated.
As a result of Azerbaijani criminal actions, 2 civilians and 9 servicemen were killed, 24 civilians and 44 servicemen were attempted murder, 9 civilians and 28 servicemen received bodily injuries of various degrees, 6 people were physically assaulted, 2 received death threats.
In addition, as a result of criminal encroachments on property rights, individuals suffered damage in the amount of 17,710,000 drams. 5 cases of deliberate destruction or damage to property (houses) were recorded, 3 - damage to agricultural machinery, 7 - vehicles, 2 - construction equipment, 3 gardens and a field were also set on fire, a large herd of cattle was fired from firearms, "the Prosecutor General's Office emphasized.
It is also noted that, in addition to the abovementioned, since November 2020, the Azerbaijani military located near the villages of Askeran, Martuni, Shusha regions and Stepanakert fired from different directions at nearby settlements or into the air, as a result of which they often fired at the roofs of houses or courtyards. "The above-mentioned statistics show that after the trilateral statement, Azerbaijan has regularly violated the requirement of a complete ceasefire and a cessation of hostilities. The sequence of events and ways of expression prove that their main goal is terrorism, and the only factor protecting the Artsakh people at the moment are the Russian peacekeeper and the Armenian soldier, "the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Artsakh summed up.
