Artsakh State Minister and Glendale Mayor discussed prospects for  expanding cooperation

ArmInfo.Artsakh State Minister Artak Beglaryan met with member of the California State Assembly, Senator Anthony Portantino, Senator Adrin Nazarian and  Mayor of Glendale Paula Devine at the Consulate General of the  Republic of Armenia in Los Angeles.

According to the press service of the State Minister, Beglaryan  thanked the elected officials of California for the constant support  of the people of Artsakh, stressing the need to expand and develop  relations. In this vein, he expressed his conviction that the  resolution on California's recognition of the independence of Artsakh  from 2014 was not only a political act, but also opened a window for  practical cooperation, towards which Nagorno-Karabakh is ready to  take clear measures.

In turn, Adrin Nazarian and Anthony Portantino expressed their  readiness to deepen the existing relations in all possible formats.

During the meeting with Mayor of Glendale Paula Devine, an exchange  of views took place on the areas of cooperation with the cities of  Artsakh. The mutual importance of both logistical support and  capacity development programs was expressed by the parties.
