ArmInfo. Secretary of the RA Security Council Armen Grigoryan received newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Armenia Helene Sand Andresen (place of residence Tbilisi).
As reported by the press service of the RA Security Council, at the beginning of the meeting the interlocutors exchanged views on the issues of the bilateral agenda and expressed their readiness to further expand it, as well as to fully realize the potential of cooperation.
Helene Sand Andresen emphasized that democratic values, human rights, rule of law, education, energy security are the sectors in which the Armenian-Norwegian relations can develop further.
The parties touched upon the issues of regional security and stability. The Secretary General of the Security Council stressed the need to unblock in terms of the imperative of creating a secure environment in the region.
The interlocutors discussed the role of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs in the process of a comprehensive settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
