ArmInfo.The prestigious international Summit of Minds will be held in Dilijan on October 23-24 for the third time.

The press service of the RA President reminded that the annual summit  held in the French city of Chamonix since 2019 has also been held in  Armenia, and was named the "Armenian Summit of Minds".  An exclusive  arrangement to organize it was reached in September 2018, when  President Armen Sarkissian delivered the keynote address at the  annual Summit of Minds.

The traditional Armenian Summit of Minds held in Dilijan has now  become a kind of Armenian brand. It is held under the auspices of RA  President Armen Sarkissian, the main partners are the authoritative  "The Monthly Barometer" analytical magazine and the Central Bank of  Armenia.

The Summit of Minds brings together political, economic, scientific  and cultural figures from all over the world. It is a unique platform  for the exchange of ideas, knowledge and experience, the main purpose  of which is to present new ideas on important issues around the  world. This year's Summit will be held under the slogan "Global  changes in the new quantum world". It will begin with a dialogue  between President Armen Sarkissian and former Italian Prime Minister  and former European Commission President Romano Prodi.

The plenary sessions will focus on two main topics: the development  of geopolitical changes in the world and in the South Caucasus and  technologies, in particular artificial intelligence and biotechnology  in the 21st century. Within the framework of the Summit, the program  of the 6th festival of science and art STARMUS, which will be held in  Armenia next year, will be presented.

Given the epidemic situation in the world, some participants will  participate in the online summit. Among the participants in this  year's Summit are former heads of state, heads of reputable  international think tanks, international organizations, well-known  technology companies, professors of world-renowned universities,  including former President of Argentina Mauricio Macri, former  President of Switzerland Micheline Calmy-Rey, President of the  Russian Skolkovo Foundation , President of the World Chess Federation  (FIDE) Arkady Dvorkovich, Member of the State Duma of the Russian  Federation, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for CIS Affairs,  Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots Konstantin  Zatulin, Deputy Director of Yandex Tigran Khudaverdyan, legendary  athlete Roger Grace and others.

Speaking about holding the summit in Armenia for the third time,  Thierry Malleret, the organizer of the Summit of Minds and founder of  the authoritative "The Monthly Barometer" analytical magazine,  considered the event a good opportunity to discuss the existing  challenges with experts from different countries and propose  solutions. <Armenia is a small country geographically, but at the  same time, large in its influence. Everyone knows about the origin of  the Armenians, the values and wealth of Armenia, in particular, about  the Armenian Diaspora, which is present in many countries of the  world. Armenia also occupies a very interesting place in terms of  geopolitics. We believe that by holding this summit together with  Armenia, we will be able to create interesting opportunities for this  country, " Thierry Malleret said.
