"Taking into account the approaching anniversary of the adoption of the Statement of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia of November 9, 2020 on a complete ceasefire and all hostilities in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, a review of the implementation of the trilateral agreements was carried out. It was stated that most of the provisions of this Statement are being successfully implemented. It was agreed to intensify work on the pressing issues. Lavrov also had a bilateral conversation with Bayramov, during which a substantive exchange of views was held on various aspects of bilateral relations, regional and international agenda.
It should be reminded that on the night of November 10, the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia announced that they had reached an agreement on a ceasefire on the territory of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev called the agreement victorious, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that he was forced to agree to it, this was demanded by the situation at the front. Russian President Vladimir Putin indicated that the agreed provisions will create "the necessary conditions for a long-term and full-scale settlement of the crisis around Nagorno-Karabakh on a just basis."
