As Iranian officials said, serious steps must be taken to develop relations between our countries." At the same time, Mohammad-Jaafar Montazeri touched upon the terrorist threat and said that Armenia and Iran stressed that they will not tolerate terrorists seen on the borders of the two countries. "We maintain good-neighborly relations with neighboring countries and hope that they will understand Iran's position before the problem escalates. The terrorists must disappear as soon as possible. We can take decisive steps, but I hope that the neighboring countries will begin to resolve the issue themselves," he summed up.
