
ArmInfo. Adhering to the historical solidarity between Armenia and France, the three French state hospitals have joined their Armenian counterparts in helping the victims of the recent conflict in Artsakh.
As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia, within the framework of this cooperation on October 13-15 at the Yerevan State Medical University named after M. Heratsi, Yerevan will host the first Armenian-French scientific-medical conference dedicated to providing assistance to people affected by the Artsakh conflict.
The aim of the conference is to exchange experience between Armenian and French specialists, as well as to study the prospects for cooperation between the two countries in the field of healthcare.
The Armenian-French Scientific Medical Conference is organized by three public hospital systems of France: Assistance Publique - Hopitaux de Paris (AP-HP), the Lyon University Hospital and the Centre Hospitalier le Vinatier in Lyon with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, culture and sports of RA and under the high patronage of the French Embassy in Armenia.
The opening of the first Armenian-French scientific-medical conference will be attended by RA President Armen Sarkissian, Head of the RA Ministry of Education and Science Vahram Dumanyan, Ambassador of France to Armenia Anne Louyot and guests from France.
