NSS detained former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian  Armed Forces Stepan Galstyan

ArmInfo. The National Security Service of Armenia (NSS) detained the former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces Stepan Galstyan. This is  stated in the official statement of the press service of the National  Security Service.

According to the source, Stepan Galstyan was detained in the  framework of a criminal case on abuse in the process of supplying  weapons for the needs of the Armed Forces and embezzlement of funds  on an especially large scale.  A petition was filed with the court  for the selection of a preventive measure in the form of arrest.  To  recall, on September 29 Stepan Galstyan was invited to the NSS.  Earlier, the media circulated information about a search in his  apartment.
