Erdogan calls meeting with Putin in Sochi fruitful

ArmInfo. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called the meeting with his Russian  counterpart Vladimir Putin in Sochi a fruitful one.  "After a  fruitful meeting with our colleague Putin, we left Sochi,"- Erdogan  wrote on Twitter.  

The Turkish head of state also added to the  publication a photo from his meeting with Putin.  The Russian  President also highly appreciated the results of the talks with his  Turkish counterpart.

"Thank you for your visit. It was very useful and informative. We  will be in contact," the Russian leader said, seeing off the guest.

The leaders of the two countries discussed, according to the message  before a closed meeting, both bilateral relations and regional  problems - the situation in Syria, Libya, Afghanistan and the South  Caucasus. The meeting lasted 2 hours and 45 minutes, closed to the  press.  However, it is not yet possible to speak about the real  results of the summit. Since the heads of Russia and Turkey did not  go out to the press following the meeting. The media also circulated  information that Erdogan had canceled a briefing for the Turkish  media planned on his way back to Ankara. Based on this, it can be  assumed that the leaders of Russia and Turkey did not come to a  common denominator on key issues on the bilateral agenda.
