ArmInfo. The issues related to the rich agenda of the Armenian-Greek relations were discussed during the meeting on the sidelines of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly by the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Greece Ararat Mirzoyan and Nikos Dendias.
As reported by the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the interlocutors noted the importance of introducing efforts aimed at further strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation. During the meeting, the parties expressed satisfaction with the mutual support within the framework of international structures. The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Greece exchanged views on a number of topical issues of the regional and international agenda.
Mirzoyan presented to his Greek colleague the situation as a result of the Azerbaijani-Turkish aggression against Artsakh, stressing the need for the immediate return of Armenian prisoners of war and civilian hostages.
The Armenian Foreign Minister stressed the importance of resuming the process of peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship.
