ArmInfo.Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, who is in New York to participate in the 76th session of the UN General Assembly, met with Slovenian Foreign Minister Anze Logar.
As reported by the press service of the RA MFA, the parties touched upon a wide range of issues on the agenda of the Armenian-Slovenian relations, stressing that there is a great potential in bilateral relations, but still not realized.
The interlocutors discussed the prospects for further development of Armenia-EU relations in the context of Slovenia's presidency of the EU Council. The importance of further strengthening cooperation within the framework of the Eastern Partnership, based on the principle of inclusiveness and shared values, was noted. During the meeting, the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Slovenia discussed issues of the regional and international agenda. Ararat Mirzoyan expressed confidence that long-term and stable peace in the region can be achieved only through a comprehensive settlement of the Karabakh conflict under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship, based on well-known principles and elements.
