To note, in the recent period, the drivers of Iranian heavy trucks have problems when driving on the Goris- Kapan section, 21 km of which came under the control of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani security forces stop Iranian drivers and demand from them tax payments ranging from $ 100 to $ 350 for crossing this section of the road. The situation has not yet been resolved, and many are trying to use the bypass road through the Tatev community. However, this road is not suitable for heavy trucks due to the fact that it is very narrow.
