"I assess (the activities of the peacekeeping mission of the Russian Federation) only positively. We are assessed by the civilian population - today life in Karabakh is in full swing. There are, of course, very difficult questions, but the process is underway - the return of people, the solution of a number of problematic issues. Therefore, I think everything will be fine, "Muradov said.
He added that the Russian peacekeepers will stay on the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh for five years after the conflict. "The first five years - according to an agreement signed by the heads of the three states. Subsequently, a decision will be made on the further extension [of the stay] of the Russian peacekeeping contingent," he added in an interview with TASS.

Major General Mikhail Kosobokov has been appointed Commander of the Russian peacekeeping mission in the region. To recall, in accordance with the agreements specified in the joint statement of the President of the Russian Federation, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, from 12:00pm Moscow time on November 10, 2020, a complete ceasefire and all hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh were announced. ...
