Plane with 2 Armenian captives landed in Yerevan

ArmInfo.An aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces on board with two Armenian captives landed at the Erebuni airport in Yerevan.

Two Armenian prisoners of war, Artur Nalbandyan and Aramayis  Torozyan, were exchanged for an Azerbaijani soldier Jamil Babayev  through the mediation of the commander of the peacekeeping  contingent, General Rustam Muradov.

To note, at dawn on July 14, in fog, while performing official duties  in a military vehicle, communication with the serviceman Artur  Nalbandyan and driver Aramais Torozyan disappeared, who accidentally  entered the territory controlled by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces near  Lake Sev Lich.

To recall, on August 25 this year in the city of Martakert, in a  house on Teryan Street, a serviceman of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces  Jamil Babayev was found. On the same day he was taken to the NSS of  Artsakh. "A criminal case has been initiated in connection with the  illegal crossing of the state border of Artsakh with the threat of  murder of underage residents of the abovementioned house, and with  espionage," the NSS reported.
