ArmInfo. The defense of the third President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, filed a lawsuit against the member of the RA National Assembly, a prominent businessman Khachatur Sukiasyan (popularly known by the nickname Grzo - ed. note) with a demand to refute the information discrediting the honor and good reputation of their client.
Thus, on September 6 Amram Makinyan, the lawyer of the third RA President Serzh Sargsyan, in a conversation with journalists, before filing a claim with the court of general jurisdiction of Yerevan, stated that they demand that the refutation be voiced from the rostrum of the National Assembly. According to him, they also demand to pay 1 million drams as material compensation, and transfer the above funds to the Fund for Assistance to Servicemen. At the same time, the lawyer added that the claim is quite voluminous and all the reasons have been presented, by virtue of which the court will satisfy their application and oblige Khachatur Sukiasyan to come up with a refutation. Amram Makinyan stressed that they will no longer tolerate the spread of any lies or misinformation. "It's no secret that this team, before coming to power, generated a lot of lies, as a result of which it was able to divide society into blacks and whites. It generated hatred, as a result of which we have what we have. From now on, we will be consistent in revealing lies, and these authorities will no longer have the opportunity to use our patience and goodwill, "Makinyan said, and did not rule out that there will be new similar lawsuits in the future. It should be noted that on August 25, from the rostrum of the RA Parliament, Sukiasyan criticized the former authorities and accused the third RA President of corruption. <The third president has lost over a hundred million dollars in casinos. Mr. Ohanyan (former Minister of Defense Seyran Ohananyan- ed. note) knows very well what the third president came to Armenia in, when he had one shoe one size larger than the other. There was large-scale corruption, one person decided who should do what, "Sukiasyan noted.
