The Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs is headed by Taguhi Tovmasyan, MP from the "I Have Honor" faction. Rustam Bakoyan was born on February 6, 1986, in the village of Nor kyanq, Ararat region. In 2004 - Drafted to serve in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia. In the same year he was demobilized for medical reasons. In 2009- Graduated from the Geography Department of the Historical, Legal and Geographical Faculty of the State Pedagogical University. Historian geographer. In 2011- Graduated from the Master's Degree in the Department of Iranian Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies, YSU. Orientalist (Iranian). 2010-2012 - Researcher of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia. 2010-2013 - Lecturer at the European College (Vedi branch). November-December 2016 - Deputy Head of Nor Kyank Municipality. 2017-2018 - Director, coordinator of the Yerevan branch of "Lalash" TV company, author and presenter of the analytical cycle "Crossroads of Opinions" and "From Village to Village" programs. 2018-2019 - Editor- translator of the Public Radio Company of Armenia. In 2007 - co-founder, in 2014 - Chairman of the Armenian-Yezidi youth movement "Shams". In 2014, he initiated the process of providing humanitarian assistance to the Yezidis of Shangala. December 9, 2018- Elected Deputy of the National Assembly from the national electoral list of the "My Step" bloc of parties. In the parliament of the 7th convocation, he was a member of the Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs, the Investigative Committee for studying the effectiveness of the Water Committee of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of the Republic of Armenia, its structural divisions and the Bureau for the implementation of water management programs in Ararat and Armavir regions.
