Arayik Harutyunyan assures: the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh is  stable

ArmInfo. Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan assures that the situation in the republic is stable.

So, in an interview with journalists on August 18 in the RA  Parliament, when answering a question about the situation on the line  of contact of the troops, Harutyunyan said in particular: "The  situation in Karabakh is stable ". At the same time, he added with  displeasure that all the necessary information was provided.

At the same time, to clarify what issues were discussed with the MPs  of the "Civil Contract" faction, Arayik Harutyunyan said that all  issues, including issues of border, socio-economic, foreign policy.

In response to the journalist's remark that, according to the rumors,  Azerbaijan has put forward an ultimatum to conclude a peace treaty,  the President of Artsakh said: " There is no such thing, "I am not  aware."

It should be noted that a few hours earlier a meeting of members of  the parliamentary faction of the ruling Civil Contract party with   President of Nagorno Karabakh Arayik Harutyunyan took place in the RA  Parliament.

It is worth noting that in the last period, the Azerbaijani Armed  Forces have arranged provocations near Shushi almost everyday.   Moreover, today they started a fire in the south-west of Artsakh, and  then fired at a fire engine that went there to extinguish the fire.   It also became known that a few days earlier the servicemen of the  Artsakh Defense Army were withdrawn from the borders of the Yeghtsogh  village of the Shushi region.  <The village was left defenseless.  There are rumors that our soldiers left their positions so that the  Azerbaijanis would retreat 3 km. But now nothing is happening yet,  "said the head of the Yeghtsogh village Artak Hakobyan, adding that  for a certain time Russian peacekeepers came to protect the village,  but then they left and never returned. The Artsakh leadership has not  yet commented on this.
