ArmInfo.On August 17, at 6:06pm local time, the seismic network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia registered an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.3 points and a focus depth of 10 km.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the epicenter is located 12 km north-east of the village of Bavra (Georgia-Armenia border zone). The strength of the tremors at the epicenter was 4-5 points.
The earthquake was felt in the villages of Ashotsk, Saragyukh, Bavra and Tavshut, Shirak region with a force of 3 points.
