


ArmInfo.A 3.3 magnitude earthquake was recorded in the Armenian-Georgian border zone, 15 km northeast of the village of Bavra. As reported by the press service of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations, the earthquake was recorded by the seismic services on August 15 at 11:42pm local time. The epicenter was located at a depth of 10 km.
The force at the epicenter was 4-5 points. The force at the epicenter of 3-4 points were felt by the residents of the village of Bavra, Shirak region of the Republic of Armenia, and a 3-point was felt in the communities of Amasich, Zuygaghbyur, Shirak region, and the villages of Metsavan and Paghaghbyur, Lori region.
Another shaking with a magnitude of 4.5 recorded already 16 km northeast of Bavra on August 16 at 05:44am. The epicenter was located at a depth of 10 km. The force at the epicenter was 6 points. An earthquake of magnitude 4-5 was felt in the Shirak and Lori regions, and 3-4 in the Tavush region.
