ArmInfo. Photo exhibition entitled: " Internationally recognized Kazakhstan!" dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was organized yesterday at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Armenia, with the participation of representatives of Armenian state, public and humanitarian organizations and the media.
Within the framework of the event, the ceremony of awarding the badge "Defender of the Antimonopoly Service" to Chairman of the State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition of the Republic of Armenia Gegham Gevorgyan was held on the results of the round table "The Role of Competition Policy in Improving the Economic Welfare of the State", held on June 7, 2021 in an online format and dedicated to the 30th anniversary the Antimonopoly Service of Kazakhstan. As noted in the order of the Chairman of the Agency for the Protection and Development of Competition of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 31, 2021, the head of the Armenian Antimonopoly Service was awarded "for high achievements in labor activity, many years of fruitful work, contribution to the development of the Antimonopoly Service". In his speech of gratitude, G. Gevorgyan noted "since the day of independence, significant work has been carried out between Armenia and Kazakhstan to develop cooperation in various fields, including in the field of protection of competition."
During the photo exhibition itself, the guests were acquainted with the achievements in the socio-economic development of Kazakhstan, the economic modernization of the country, political and democratic reforms initiated by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, as well as Kazakhstani international initiatives. The information was accompanied by a demonstration of unique photographs that recorded the stages of formation and development of Kazakhstan during the years of Independence.
Representatives of the Armenian community praised the political and socio-economic achievements of the Republic of Kazakhstan aimed at ensuring sustainable development and interethnic and interfaith harmony, strengthening security, as well as the ongoing foreign policy in the international arena.
