ArmInfo. President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian signed decrees on the appointment of ambassadors of the Republic of Armenia to Egypt, Turkmenistan, Cuba and Colombia.
According to the press service of the RA President's Office, Hrachya Poladyan was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Arab Republic of Egypt for a period of three years (residence in Cairo). By another decree, he was recalled from the post of ambassador to Iraq.
Ruben Kharazyan was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Turkmenistan for a period of three years (residence in Ashgabat). Anahit Harutyunyan was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Canada, as wel as was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Cuba (residence in Ottawa).
Arman Hakobyan was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Federative Republic of Brazil, as well as was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Plurinational State of Bolivia (residence in Brazil).
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Arab Republic of Egypt as well as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Sudan Karen Grigoryan was recalled from the post of RA Ambassador to Egypt and Sudan.
Boris Sahakyan, Adviser to the RA MFA Secretariat, was awarded the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.
