ArmInfo.Secretary General of Francophonie Louise Mushikiwabo congratulated the Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan on his victory in the elections.
As reported by the press service of the RA government, the message, in particular, says that for several months the Republic of Armenia has been confronting significant challenges, especially from the point of view of security. "In this regard, I would like to reaffirm the full solidarity of the French-speaking community, especially to the Armenian families, who are awaiting the return of prisoners of war, missing persons, as well as the bodies of victims of the conflict," the message reads. As the Secretary General noted, in this context, national unity and dialogue continue to play a fundamental role. She expressed confidence that Pashinyan will be able to find ways, means to further unite Armenians and maintain the momentum of the reforms undertaken since 2018.
"Taking this opportunity, I confirm the readiness of the International Organization of la Francophonie to develop cooperation between our organization and Armenia, especially in the field of strengthening the rule of law and the French language," the message reads.
