ArmInfo. Today it is important to think about a smooth transition from social assistance programs programs to the people of Artsakh to development programs. This was stated at a meeting of the government by acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan during the consideration of the issue of the next provision of almost 8 billion drams as social assistance to the residents of the Republic of Artsakh displaced as a result of the military aggression of Azerbaijan.
It should be reminded that by the government decision of the displaced residents of Artsakh, who lost their homes and property, the Armenian government provides 68 thousand drams a month.
As Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan reported at a meeting of the government, 61.8 billion drams have already been spent under this program and about 104 thousand actually beneficiaries have already received assistance under this program 4 times. It is assumed that these expenses will increase to about 80 billion drams, and payments aimed at renting housing and operating expenses will continue until the residents are provided with permanent housing.
Grigoryan also spoke about the second set of tasks - the obligations of the Artsakh government and compensation for property losses of legal entities. This program is also being implemented and about 10 billion drams have already been spent on it. The third set deals directly with construction and housing for displaced persons. Together with the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, about 104 billion drams will be mobilized for these purposes, and the government's expenditures under this program will amount to about 54 billion drams over the next few years.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, all social events related to the Republic of Artsakh are underway, and the program for the construction of new housing is already being developed, and will be one of the first to implement the future new government of the country. "All decisions have been made, implemented, the only thing left is to make the final decision on compensation for property losses of individuals and work on further identification of the beneficiaries of the programs in order to increase the efficiency of costs and results. The government has no financial problems for these tasks, only the issues of identifying the beneficiaries and the formation of accurate lists arise, " Grigoryan emphasized.
