


ArmInfo.Since June 30, an "information desk" has been operating at the Yerevan railway station on issues of registration for the entry of citizens into Georgia.
As reported by the SCR press service, the administrator will help the passengers of the Yerevan-Batumi- Yerevan international train who applied for help to register in a special application for foreigners entering the neighboring country.
To recall, according to the regulations, citizens who have submitted a certificate confirming negative PCR diagnostics of coronavirus (COVID-19) with a maximum period of 72 hours can enter Georgia.
On the third day after entering the country, citizens are required to undergo PCR testing at their own expense. When entering the territory of Armenia, a certificate confirming a negative result of PCR diagnostics is also required. Detailed information on the procedure for crossing borders in the context of coronavirus is available on the official website of the South Caucasus Railway.
The South Caucasian Railway CJSC is a 100% subsidiary of the Russian Railways OJSC and carries out concession management of the Armenian railways. The railway infrastructure of Armenia was transferred to the concession management of the SCR CJSC in accordance with the Concession Agreement signed on February 13, 2008. The term of the concession management is 30 years with the right to extend it for another 10 years.
