State Minister of Artsakh: Soon the Azerbaijani side will stop using  the road from Red Bazaar to Shushi

ArmInfo. Soon, in a few months, the Azerbaijani side will stop using the Red Bazaar - Shushi road. Artsakh State Minister Artak Beglaryan stated this on July 1,  responding to the concern of the NKR residents about the unleashed  behavior of Azerbaijanis using this road.

"Additional work is being carried out in this direction. Work is also  underway to improve road safety, including lighting, strengthening  control and more, "Beglaryan said.

He also agreed that Azerbaijanis behave insolently, often insulting  Armenians, and stated that there were numerous signals, including  from the Russian peacekeepers.

"Our Armed Forces are also taking preventive measures, about which  nothing is said. This is essential. But, of course, there are minor  incidents, "Beglaryan added. Speaking about the activities of the  peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh, he noted that time has shown the  effectiveness of their presence in terms of ensuring security. "That  is, initially we were more skeptical. However, after 7-8 months, we  can state the high efficiency of their activities. That is, people  see security guarantees and are ready to continue living here, "he  said.

At the same time, the State Minister believes that the presence of  Russian peacekeepers and peacekeepers in general will not be limited  to 5 years.

Time will tell what will be the solutions. It also depends on the  actions of the superpowers. I am not aware of any behind-the-scenes  agreements on Artsakh. The future of Artsakh will be positive. I  think that the Russian peacekeepers who guarantee our security will  be in Artsakh for a long time. Of course, our Armed Forces are also  the guarantors of our security, and over time, the effectiveness of  this task will increase," Beglaryan said. In this vein, the official  recalled that Artsakh is committed to a peaceful solution to security  issues, expressing hope that Azerbaijan will be ready for this.  In  conclusion, he added that strengthening security and carrying out  economic reforms are the main conditions for preventing the  emigration of citizens from Artsakh, assuring that everything will be  done to ensure demographic growth in the republic from year to year.
