"As a result of discussions with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands on June 22, the country's parliament adopted a resolution urging the government to refrain from traveling to Azerbaijan for the quarter-finals in case of another victory of the Dutch national team at EURO2020.
To take this step as a sign of the violation of the ceasefire by the Azerbaijani authorities, the refusal to repatriate the Armenian prisoners of war, the unacceptability of the opening of the Trophy Park in Baku, timed to coincide with the last war in Karabakh, where, among other things, the helmets of Armenian soldiers who fell in battle are presented, " the Embassy of Armenia reports this with reference to the Parliament of the Netherlands.
According to the report, the text of the resolution, in particular, says: "Noting that in violation of the trilateral declaration of a ceasefire after the 40-day war in Nagorno-Karabakh at the end of 2020 and international law, more than 200 Armenian prisoners of war are still being held in Baku. the "Trophy Park" was opened in which, among other things, the helmets of the killed Armenian soldiers are presented.send a governmental delegation to Baku if the Dutch national team comes to play there."
According to the report, the text of the resolution, in particular, says: ""Noting that in violation of the cease- fire agreement and international law of war after the 40-day war in Nagorno-Karabakh at the end of 2020, more than 200 Armenian prisoners of war are still being held in Azerbaijan, among other places also in Baku, and that there is also a "Trophy park" in Baku with, among other things, the helmets of fallen Armenians;
