ArmInfo.The Central Election Commission of Armenia yesterday recalculated votes at 65 polling stations for the early parliamentary elections held in the republic on June 20. The press service of the RA CEC reports.
According to the report, since June 23, work on recalculation has been carried out in election commissions No. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 17, 23, 24, 25, 33, 34 and 35. As a result of the work carried out, out of 65 polling stations in 27, no changes were registered in the number of votes cast for this or that candidate.
According to the results of the work carried out by the CEC, the following changes in the counting of votes were recorded: 659 more people voted for the Civil Contract party than was represented by the preliminary voting results, for the Armenia bloc - by 744. Other parties and blocs have changes in votes minor
At the same time, the CEC informs that today, June 24, from 10.00 to 11.00, work will continue on the recalculation of votes in the territorial election commissions No. 9, 23 and 34.
To remind, on June 20, early parliamentary elections of the 8th convocation were held in Armenia. According to the preliminary results of the RA CEC from all 2008 polling stations in Armenia, three political forces entered the parliament: the "Civil Contract" party - 53.92% (687,251 people), the "Armenia" bloc - 21.04% (268,165 people), the " I have honor! " - 5.23% (66 633 people). The turnout in the elections was 49.4%.
