Armenian Investigative Committee detains suspect accused of attacking MP Babajanyan`s car

ArmInfo. The Investigative Committee of Armenia found out the person, who fired the car of MP, RA Prime Minister candidate from the Alliance of Democrats  Shirinyan-Babajanyan bloc Arman Babajanyan.

The Investigative Committee of Armenia recalled that in connection  with the incident, a criminal case was initiated on the grounds of  Part 1 of Article 185 of the RA Criminal Code and Part 1 of Art. 235  of the RA Criminal Code. And considering the fact that the  inclinations were committed against the politician, and even on the  day of elections, another criminal case was initiated on the basis of  Articles 34-305 of the RA Criminal Code. According to the department,  on June 22, it was decided to combine both criminal cases into one  proceeding.

A 44-year-old resident of Yerevan was detained on suspicion of  committing this act. The investigation continues.  Let us remind you  that the car belonging to MP Babajanyan was fired upon at around 9:30  am local time on June 20. There was no one in the car at the time of  the incident.
