ArmInfo. Actign Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan held political consultations on June 23 with the head of the Conservative Party, a member of the Free Motherland bloc (won 0.32% of the vote - 4,136 people) Mikael Hayrapetyan and Chairman of the Alliance Party Tigran Urikhanyan, who headed the electoral list of the party "Our Home is Armenia" (0.95% of the votes or 12,164 people).
During a meeting with Hayrapetyan, Pashinyan noted that Armenia had experienced a rather tense situation in the parliamentary elections, according to the press service of the government. In his words, it is important that the possibility of free expression of the will of the citizens of the Republic of Armenia was fully ensured. He expressed a desire to hear the opinion of the interlocutor about the future course of political life and the prospects for cooperation.
Mikael Hayrapetyan, in turn, noted that the results of these elections are undeniable for the Conservative Party. At the same time, according to him, the elections showed that a national consensus is needed. On the contrary, as the head of the party pointed out, chaos reigns in Armenia. "We will not only not support this chaos, but we will also go against it, no matter what force it has provoked," he said, stressing that there is a need to consolidate the "Armenian potential."
Note that in December 2012 the Conservative Party announced its withdrawal from the Armenian National Congress (ANC). This decision was made in connection with the refusal to take part in the presidential elections on February 18, 2013 by the leader of the ANC, former President Levon Ter-Petrosyan. At a meeting with Urikhanyan, Pashinyan asked to share his thoughts on how to make the government and extra-parliamentary forces "be mutually heard."
According to the party leader, the goal of ensuring a relatively calm period by holding early elections has been achieved. He expressed regret that the party will not be represented in the future parliament. He expressed a desire to be useful to the country within the framework of the implementation of the program provisions voiced during the election campaign.
On June 20, early parliamentary elections were held in Armenia, as a result of which three parties entered the new convocation of the National Assembly of Armenia: "Civil Contract", "Hayastan" ("Armenia") bloc and "I Have the Honor" bloc.
On June 21, at the rally acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that he was starting political consultations with all political forces that are ready to conduct a dialogue in the name of Armenia's future.
