He also added that today the RA CEC will make a corresponding statement on the process of recount of votes. According to the information, there turned out to be 100 votes instead of 10 for the Bloc.
As ArmInfo previously reported, the Central Election Commission of Armenia made a decision to recalculate votes in more than 70 polling stations. According to the source, the recount will be held on June 23 from 10:00am in the election commissions No. 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 17, 23, 24, 25, 31, 33, 34 and 35.
It should be reminded that on June 20, early parliamentary elections of the 8th convocation were held in Armenia. According to the preliminary results of the CEC from all 2008 polling stations in Armenia, the votes were distributed as follows: "Civil Contract" party - 53.92% (687,251 people), "Armenia" bloc - 21.04% (268,165 people), "I Have the Honor! " - 5.23% (66 633 people).
The "Armenia" bloc stated that they do not recognize the results of the elections and intend to challenge the results in the Constitutional Court.
