ArmInfo. The "Armenia" bloc issued a statement in which it expresses gratitude to the citizens who entrusted them with their vote on June 20, 2021.
"This trust testifies to the confidence of several hundred thousand citizens of our country in the presence of existential threats to the Armenian nation and their agreement with the methods proposed by the Armenia bloc for solving this number of tasks. The Armenia bloc confirms its position that the official results of the parliamentary elections are controversial and not credible. We have sufficient grounds to assert that the official election results do not represent the real balance of forces.
According to our observations and information from the territorial headquarters, numerous violations took place long before election day. And actually on the day of voting, we received numerous signals from our proxies, preliminary testifying to the systematic and pre-planned falsification of the voting process, "the statement reads.
The bloc lists the falsifications that the incumbent authorities resorted to: 1. A non-competitive electoral atmosphere was formed in society, the authorities massively used administrative resources, and actions were taken to intimidate voters. 2. Since the beginning of the counting process, there has been a massive power outage. It is generally about the regions and individual communities, such as Armavir, Lori, Shirak, Aragatsotn and others. 3. There were numerous gatherings of outsiders in these communities and at the polling stations. This gives rise to founded assumptions that the system of mobile groups of counterfeiters was involved. 4. An indisputable fact is the open and directed vote of the army, which provided the authorities with a large number of votes. 5. There are serious suspicions about electronic interference in the process of counting the voting results, which, by definition, excludes the possibility of revealing an objective picture of the voting results. 6. The bloc has information about veiled distribution of electoral bribes in some communities.
"To dispute the voting results, the Armenia bloc uses all the tools, including appealing to the Constitutional Court. The bloc starts political consultations with other election participants to discuss a collective appeal to the Constitutional Court," the Bloc's statement says.
It should be noted that according to the preliminary data released by the RA CEC, Nikol Pashinyan's "Civil Contract" party (53.9%) won the early parliamentary elections, followed by Robert Kocharian's "Armenia" bloc (21%). The bloc "I Have the Honor!" is also going to parliament (5.2%).
The Prosperous Armenia Party took the 4th place, which received 3.9% of the votes. The rest of the political forces together collected only 15.7%. The Civil Contract party led by Nikol Pashinyan won in all regions of Armenia, including Syunik and Yerevan. Note that on election day, mass violations were reported at elections. And immediately after the closure of polling stations electricity cut off occurred for a certain period of time in a number of regions. Power grids of Armenia explained the cutt offs in a number of region by emergency shutdown from Georgia.
