ArmInfo.Head of the <Armenia> bloc campaign headquarters submitted an official complaint to the office of the RA Human Rights Defender that the court of general jurisdiction of Yerevan issued an unjustified search warrant, on the basis of which unlawful actions were taken against the heads of their headquarters in Sisian, Syunik region. This was reported by the press service of the Human Rights Defender.
According to the complaint, the purpose stated in the basis of the court's permission is to locate equipment for printing ballots and other materials related to the electoral process.
The complaint indicated that law enforcement agencies want to detain 4 representatives of the <Armenia> bloc instead of conducting investigative actions on the spot, which means that the latter will not have the opportunity to take part in the electoral process, which means that the work of the bloc's headquarters in Sisian will be disrupted.
Based on the complaint received, the employees of the Office of the Human Rights Defender left for the city of Sisian to check on the spot the circumstances related to the complaint, as well as to find out on what weighty grounds it is planned to conduct certain investigative or other procedural actions in Yerevan, taking into account the duration of the voting day, the time spent on transportation of representatives of the headquarters from the region to the capital. According to the current situation, the Human Rights Defender, in connection with the information received, calls on the RA Police not to interfere with the work of one or another political force on the election day.
