ArmInfo. On June 18, candidate for MP from the Armenian National Congress party Anna Davtyan assured at the final press conference that the votes cast by the ANC would not be scattered. "We will do everything so that Pashinyan (acting prime minister, Ed. note) will not re- elected, and Kocharian (second president, Ed. note) will not become prime minister," she said.
According to her, both Pashinyan and Kocharian are dangerous for the stability of Armenia. In this regard, she expressed the hope that the number of citizens who are able to make the right decision in these difficult conditions still prevails in Armenia. As Davtyan pointed out, only the ANC will become that "lifeline" that will allow Armenia to "float to the surface of the water" and live a dignified life.
According to ANC candidate for MP Levon Zurabyan, the victory of the ANC ideas in Yerevan and other cities is obvious. Nevertheless, the party doubts that it was able to convey its "messages" to the residents of regions and villages, due to the lack of appropriate financial and media resources. As Zurabyan pointed out, the main participants in the pre-election race acting Prime Minister Nikol Papinyan and second president Robert Kocharian monopolized such resources.
Zurabyan once again noted that those who will vote for ANC will choose peace and stability, and those who are for Kocharian or Pashinyan are in favor of a civil war.
The pre-election campaign for early parliamentary elections in Armenia started on June 7 and will end on June 18 at 12:00 pm. June 19 is a day of silence. The elections will be held on June 20 from 8:00am to 8:00 pm local time. To participate in them, 25 political forces are registered - 21 parties and 4 blocs. -
