ArmInfo. The settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict will be on the agenda of talks between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and OSCE Secretary General Helga Schmid on June 21 in Moscow. At the same time, she noted that the OSCE Secretary General will arrive in Moscow at the invitation of the Russian Defense Minister to participate in the meeting of the IX Moscow Conference on International Security, which will be held on June 22-24.
"The agenda of the negotiations of the parties includes a wide range of issues of the current work of the OSCE in all three dimensions of the organization's activities - military-political, economic-environmental and human rights. It is also planned to discuss issues related to the resolution of conflicts in the OSCE area. The matter also concerns on the internal Ukrainian crisis. The sides will exchange views on the current state of affairs in the Transnistrian and Nagorno-Karabakh settlement and the Geneva discussions on security in the Transcaucasus, "Zakharova said.
In this vein, she noted that Russia has consistently advocated increasing the effectiveness and authority of the OSCE, which is the largest organization in the region.
