Azerbaijani military continues to terrorize Armenian population

ArmInfo. The Azerbaijani military that invaded the sovereign territory of Armenia continue to terrorize the Armenian population.

Thus, according to the report of Ombudsman of Armenia Arman Tatoyan,  on June 16, at about 5:30 am, 9 Azerbaijani servicemen stole a cow  and a calf from a shepherd in Verin Shorzha.

"In particular, on the basis of the alarms received today, the Office  of the Human Rights Defender found out that a resident of the  Vardenis community, a shepherd of the pasture of the village of Verin  Shorzha, woke up from the shots of Azerbaijanis at about 5:30am. He  found that Azerbaijani soldiers were shooting at his livestock, which  at that time was in an open area, in the immediate vicinity of his  place of residence.

The shepherd discovered the loss of a cow and a newborn calf. Soon after  that, he noticed that 9 armed Azerbaijani servicemen were driving a  cow with a calf to their position, "the Ombudsman said, adding that  the Azerbaijani military had opened fire on the shepherds who tried  to return the cow. Human Rights Defender reported that as a result of  these actions of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, another cow was  injured. "Then the shepherds have seen as, 4 hours after the theft,  at about 9:30 am, Azerbaijani soldiers slaughtered a cow.

The Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia specifically  points out that this theft took place on the sovereign territory of  the Republic of Armenia, and the Azerbaijani military personnel  withdrew from their positions that are illegally located on the  sovereign territory of Armenia.

These pastures are inhabited by seasonal workers; in the spring,  summer and autumn months and graze their small and cattle in pastures  (these places are usually called mountain pastures). They also live  here with their families, and their right to graze animals on  pastures is enshrined in legal documents and contracts.

In other words, Azerbaijani servicemen are committing flagrant  criminal acts with the aim of depriving the citizens of the Republic  of Armenia of their right to life, livestock, and the ability to  receive family income.  Moreover, they did not return animals  recently stolen from citizens of the Republic of Armenia (in the  villages of Kut, Gegharkunik region, Verin Shorzha, Aravus, Syunik  region, Khnatsakh, etc.). This case once again proves that the  protection of the rights of the population of the Republic of Armenia  from the criminal actions of the armed forces of Azerbaijan requires  the urgent creation of a security zone, "the statement of the  Ombudsman of Armenia says.  To note, this is not the first case of  such behavior of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. Earlier, they stole 80  heads of cattle from the shepherds of the village of Kut, Gegharkunik  region of Armenia. For more than a month, the Azerbaijani military,  illegally invading the territory of the Republic of Armenia, from the  silence of the international community, continue to terrorize the  Armenian population.
