ArmInfo. Acting Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Avinyan appointed Vardan Kostanyan as RA Trade Attache in the Islamic Republic of Iran. Kostanyan, according to the official website of the Armenian government, has been appointed for a three- year term.
The government of Armenia, by a decision of April 15, 2021, established the state of the country's trade representative (attache) in Iran with a residence in Tehran (in the building of the RA Embassy in Iran). According to the Statistics Committee, trade with Iran in 2020 amounted to $ 400.2 million, including exports to Iran - $ 84.8 million, and imports to RA - $ 315.4 million.
