Only 12 MPs registered in the morning. Meanwhile, to ensure a quorum in the 120-seat parliament, the presence of 67 MPs is required. "12 MPs have been registered, there is no quorum, we have to wait," after the registration of the MPs, announced deputy speaker of the parliament Lena Nazaryan.
She recalled that in accordance with part 4 of Article 51 of the Law on the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly, the sitting continues until the required number of MPs is registered, but no more than 4 hours. Thus, the parliament will wait until 2:00 pm for those who are absent.
