ArmInfo. The Armenian Defense Ministry reacted to media reports on the deployment of the Turkish military in the Black Lake (Sev Lich) region. Thus, the statement of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia in this regard notes: "The media are spreading information that for two days Turkish army special-purpose units have been deployed in the Syunik region of Armenia, in the Black Lake region.
The Republic of Armenia, in particular, the RA Ministry of Defense, repeatedly, including on international platforms, raised the issue of the active involvement of the Turkish armed forces in the training, command and control of the Azerbaijani army. The most striking evidence of this was the war unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh, in which the Turkish armed forces were directly involved. The presence of the Turkish military in the units of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan has long been a fact, confirmed, among other things, by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.
From this point of view, the accusations that the RA Defense Ministry is hiding some facts related to the presence of the Turkish military in the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan are simply groundless. As for the photo of the Turkish soldier being distributed, it was taken on the non-Armenian section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. The movement of the military was controlled by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, and there is no question of any "deployment of Turkish military units".
