ArmInfo.A high-speed train on the Yerevan-Tbilisi-Batumi-Yerevan route of the South Caucasian Railway will start operating from June 15, the press service of the company reported.
The train will depart daily from Yerevan at 3:30 pm, from Batumi - at 3:40 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the box office at the train stations of Yerevan, Vanadzor, Gyumri and Armavir, as well as online on the company's website - https://www.railway.am/. The South Caucasian Railway CJSC is a 100% subsidiary of the Russian Railways OJSC and carries out concession management of the Armenian railways. The railway infrastructure of Armenia was transferred to the concession management of the SCR CJSC in accordance with the Concession Agreement signed on February 13, 2008. The term of the concession management is 30 years with the right to extend it for another 10 years.
