ArmInfo. From July 1, 2021, pensions in Yerevan, Gyumri and Vanadzor will be paid in a non-cash way through the bank or the national postal operator in Armenia "Haypost", with the exception of certain categories of persons for whom the "traditional" way of paying pensions will be preserved. On June 10 the government approved the approximate form of the contract with the national postal operator.
So, according to the document, the possibility of targeted delivery of pensions will be left only for 4 categories of persons: people with disabilities of the 1st or 2nd group, persons who have reached the age of 75, if the pension is paid to a 14-year-old minor citizen or by proxy. All other persons from July 1 will receive payments only through the current accounts of authorized banks or the postal operator.
In order to receive a pension on the Bank's payment card, a pensioner will have to apply to a credit institution to open a Social Account. The commission for withdrawing money when receiving a pension through "Haypost" will be 1% of the paid pension. You can choose between an authorized bank and a postal operator until June 21, 2021.
