In this regard, he noted that the people are the supreme power in Armenia, the decision of which will be indisputable. At the same time, he called on the residents of Shirak to vote for the "Civil Contract" on June 20, thereby confirming that Armenia has a future.
During his speech in a number of communities in the Shirak region, Pashinyan also said that he instructed to convey an official proposal to Baku that his son is ready to go to Azerbaijan as a hostage in exchange for all Armenian prisoners of war. "This is not the only step in the issue of returning prisoners. We are carrying out intensive work in several directions at the same time," he assured.
Pashinyan called the return of an Armenian serviceman, who, due to disorientation, found himself in the territory controlled by the Azerbaijani side, as a positive step in terms of easing tensions on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan. At the same time, he stressed that he does not consider the delimitation of the borders, which should take place under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group and the international community, as a solution to the Karabkh issue. It should be noted that during the election campaign in Shirak, Nikol Pashinyan spoke with residents of the communities of Geghadzor, Geghadir, Norashen, Mets Mantash, Saralandj, Artik, Pemzashen, where the latter presented to the acting prime minister's their concerns.
