ArmInfo.On June 20, the people of Armenia are to complete their judgment over Levon Ter-Petrosyan, Robert Kocharian, Serzh Sargsyan and Nikol Pashinyan. This was announced on June 7 by acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan during his election campaign in the Armavir region in the city of Echmiadzin. In this context, he stressed that he is ready for any outcome and any decision of citizens.
Pashinyan recalled the difference in the conduct of elections under his government and the previous authorities in terms of the status of citizens. In particular, he stressed that, starting in 2018, during the voting, the people of Armenia had the status of a decision-maker. A similar status of the acting Prime Minister guaranteed citizens in the upcoming June 20 early parliamentary elections.
"We will be submissive to your decision, whatever it may be. You must make a choice and point out their place to Levon Ter-Petrosyan, Robert Kocharyan, Serzh Sargsyan and Nikol Pashinyan," he added. In this case, the acting prime minister assured that the current situation that Armenia has faced to is due to the fact that for many years the citizens of our country did not have freedom to create, creative freedom, including in the sector of starting a business. In this context, Pashinyan recalled the achievements of his government, during the activities of which the state budget and expenditures in the defense sector increased significantly.
At the same time, he touched upon the situation regarding military service in Armenia, when the necessary support during the reign of the former authorities was provided to the soldiers by their parents, and not by the state. In Etchmiadzin, acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia did not miss the opportunity to remind also about the negotiation process. "We did not lead the negotiations to an impasse, we came to the negotiation process already being at an impasse," he stressed. At the same time, Pashinyan considered it necessary to apologize for all the mistakes he made while in power and the disappointment caused. He assured that the current government of Armenia did not surrender land, but, on the contrary, tried not to allow the surrender of what had already been agreed by the previous authorities during the negotiation process.
"I am sure that together, passing through the circles of hell, we will be able to build a future for our children. And I came here to say that Armenia has a future. And we must lay the biggest cornerstone on June 20, thereby confirming the power of the people, the rule of law, and confidence in the future of the Armenian people, "Pashinyan said.
To recall, on June 7, the pre-election campaign for early parliamentary elections started, which will end on June 18 at 24:00. 26 political forces are participating in the elections: 22 parties and 4 blocs.
