And on the same day, acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced his readiness to sign a new, already third document with Azerbaijan, this time on the part of the beginning of the process of delimitation and demarcation of the border. At the same time, he assured that this document is 100% based on the interests of the RA.
On May 31, the Spokesperson of the department Anna Naghdalyan also resigned. Disclosing the reason for his departure, Aivazian noted that he remains committed to the principle that "the Armenian Foreign Ministry, born of independence, must staunchly defend our sovereignty, our independence, our state and national interests. I hope I did not leave you ashamed, my decision to resign was due to precisely for this reason that there has never been any doubt that this Ministry can take some step or agree with some ideas, initiatives that run counter to our statehood, national-state interests.
